West o'Clare is the band Pat Kane formed in 1995, named for his family's home county in Ireland. The band represents the Irish musical tradition of the region where they were raised, near Elmira NY, roughly the area around the Finger Lakes and Twin Tiers. West o'Clare are known for their fine vocals and harmonies. Their instrumentation is varied: fiddle, flute, whistles, accordions, concertinas, guitars, bodhrans and bones.
